LIFE : THE EUROPEAN FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT FOR ENVIRONMENT

The financial instrument Life - Environment facet – favors new techniques and methods developpement and implementation regarding environnement and sustainable developement through demonstration projects cofinancing

The sphere of activity Clean Technologies and reduction of green house gases is aimed at reducing the environmental impact of economic activities through non polluting technology’ developpement as well as the adoption of an approach that focuses on reducing green house gases.

Life particularly gives its financial support to the eco-innovations directed by SME’s.

DUFIEUX’s GAP Advanced Green Panels was selected by the European Commission in septembre 2004 among 33 French proposals and and 534 European proposals. It was developped between januray 2005 and june 2007 thanks to LIFE instrument cofinancing.
